Toggle button

Once pressed it remains pressed. It can be ON or OFF.

Expanding toggle button

Once pressed opens up to reveal other UI-elements, usually others toggles and menus. It can be OFF (closed) or ON (open).

Checkbox

You check or uncheck it, as you do in web forms.

Pressing one deselect every other one, as in web forms.

Action Button (temp name)

Runs a function, and therefore releasing the mouse the button gets released. Examples:

  • Render or animation
  • Reload strips in sequencer
  • Add in File Browser Bookmarks
  • ...
