Varying Complexity UI

I believe that it would be useful to have a UI that can vary in complexity based on which setting is chosen. This would allow a teacher to start with a very minimal UI (even just grab/rotate/scale/add mesh tools) and then increase the complexity as it comes time to learn new subjects.

Varying Complexity UI

I propose a stage-based approach where Stage 1 shows the least number of UI items, and each stage after that shows a greater number of elements. It would be more complex, but we could create a version of the keymap editor where the UI elements to show could be set for each stage. A benefit of this proposal is that it could be built into the main Blender build, and a new application would not have to be developed.
