Writing

At this point, the sections are going to be pretty open to change, once more hints are generated we'll figure out how to best organize them for easy using/viewing.

Hints should be simply worded, and hopefully not using terms or concepts a complete beginner would have no idea about. (maybe there should be a blender vocabulary section or page at some point. Not every new user is going to have a good idea of whatever a vertex is as we do.)

Try to keep wording simple and ambiguous. For instance: "G moves things".

Target Audience

If you're reading this discussion page, you're probably not the target audience.

Brand new users. People trying to start out with blender, and unsurprisingly, are confused and frustrated.

Why do this?

I started this page because when I was learning blender, I got incredibly frustrated and gave up too many times because of simple things tutorials left out. I want one central location for all the little helpful or necessary things you need to know to use blender well.
