Questions

2007-12-26: Kolban: Q: What is our convention/standard for image names in the page? I think an image has to be unique across the whole Wiki ... test test test test IamInnocent: What about: Image:Manual-Part-II-SelectionEditMode-(name_of_the_image_file).png ?

2007-12-26: Kolban: Q: What will be the name of our new page?

IamInnocent: Selection in EditMode ?

---

Comments

2007-12-26: Kolban: Given that there is a lot of selection information here: Manual/Edge and Face Tools I'd suggest rather than duplicating this material for the overlap we provide a pointer to those sections of that page within the Edit selection page. I don't think we want to move that material into our new page (at least at this time) because users may today "known" where to find what they want and may be dissapointed if it moves. I think just having pointers will work and later the editing gods can advise on content location manipulation.

2007-12-26: Kolban: I just found the followign page: Manual/Selecting Meshes. Is this not what we were aiming at? I am now no longer convinced that a new page is going to be needed ... won't we just want to update the Selecting_Meshes page with more flesh?

IamInnocent: That may be. There is no problem at working on it anyway: we still can link to it at any time if we need it. Want to get on it while I finish my census?

In the same mindset, I'd like to see what's in the reference section of the Wiki and how it could be used as a central point from where a research could start... that or a glossary, I still don't know.
