Multiplexer nodes

Just some random thoughts on (de-)multiplexing nodes....

The (de-)multiplexing nodes sound like the perfect idea for quite a lot of things.

e.g.:

The nodes could be extended to have labels for the the various in- and outputs. Where the input-labels in a N-to-1 node are shown in the 1-to-N node as well automatically.

Thinking this further it would then be possible to use these nodes as a way to tell a node-group (simple toggle button?) what in/outputs to use for the group node and how to label them :)

Details: The group-output node (with labels) would need to be a 1:1 node (or how is it called if there are multiple in-and outputs that only connect to 1 counterpart?) though. The N-to-1 node would only be used if a N-noodle exists, othe4rwise the 1-to-1 node. Dunno if it would be possible to do this in one node.
