Hi ..

we will learn together how to create a low poly character as in the image using our beast (Blender) , the best open source 3d package ever .

actually its lowpoly and can be used in games as well .

3D engines requires characters with low count of faces , from 1500 to 4000 <actually depends on the 3D realtime engine itself> .

and here we will follow a step by step tutorial Guiding us for creating a human low poly character to be our hero like in some popular commercial games

the tutorial will cover - Modelling - UVW mapping - Texturing

and maybe rigging and animation as well soon :)

and we will try to optimize some areas on the character , so that we can make it more animatable <quad faces>
