Cycles Demoreel 2015

Demoreel 2014

Here is the 2014 demoreel, which we created for last years FMX conference: Cycles Demoreel 2014.

It's time to create another one this year, so we are looking for your content!

Guidelines

Please read the following carefully.

Software:

  • The content must be rendered with Cycles (obviously).

Format (Animation or Still):

  • Video: At least 1280x720, preferably 1920x1080 Full HD.
  • Image: At least 2k resolution.

Quality:

  • No or very little noise inside the image.
  • No quick test videos, we look for finished content.

Submit

Deadline is over

  • Link to your content. Please no Youtube/Vimeo links, we prefer dedicated video/image files in Dropbox, Google Drive, own webspace... Do not attach your work to the mail itself!
  • When was your content created?
  • Your name (will be used to credit you in the video). You can give us your full name (for individual work), or the name of your studio/company (for corporate work).

Rights

You will keep the copyrights and ownership of the content you submit; however we expect you to agree on the following:

  • You confirm that you are (representing) the copyright owner, and that you submit the material for use in the "Cycles Demoreel 2015".
  • The Demoreel will be presented as: (C) Blender Foundation, all rights reserved, with clear credits for you and other contributors.
  • Blender Foundation will publish the reel on their YouTube channel and share the edited video file on blender.org, and screen it on official Blender Foundation events.
  • We will share the Demoreel under the strict condition that it will be only used unaltered, and only for promotion of Blender and/or Cycles.
  • We will post a first edit of the reel for review. In case you don't agree with the way your content was used, we will change or remove it at your request.

The reel will be produced on behalf of Blender Foundation by Alexander Mitzkus (@zuggamasta) and Thomas Dinges (@dingto).
