Here's a few lens flare test images I shot on a Canon 5D with a few different lenses (specifics are in EXIF camera data in the jpegs).

Interesting to note how the flares distort as they reach the edge of the frame (or are just outside the frame). Usually they go from looking 'normal' to a dominant single streak pointing into the frame.
