Mancandy FAQ Subtitles

We're working hard to get it done :).

Project Description

Most of the good information/tutorials for Blender is in english, be it written or spoken. By getting the best educational material available in other languages it's easier for Blender to be used by even more people, with good results. The Mancandy FAQ is the very first of Blender Institute's training DVD; very high quality tutorials, advanced techniques are also explained there. Let's start by making this knowledge available to many people who don't understand spoken english good enough by, at least, creating the subtitles. The project is divided in three phases:

• Phase 1: Get the texts from Bassam Kurdali's (aka slikdigit) explanations.
• Phase 2: Proof-read the texts already obtained.
• Phase 3: Add appropriate timecodes to the final/corrected texts and release the subtitles :)

Once the english subtitles are ready it's a lot easier for anyone to translate them into his/her native language.

Just get a copy of The Mancandy FAQ (http://www.blendernation.com/2008/03/21/watch-the-mancandy-dvd-streaming-or-on-bittorrent/), look at the current phase of the project, choose a file from the "Files to be worked on" list and tell jedihe <at> gmail [dot] com what you want to do (So I can update this page and avoid for anyone to waste time). After you get your file ready, send it to me :).
