[edit] Fixing file paths and other audio clip attributes

Sometimes one needs to 'fix' the file path to an audio clip without deleting the clip. This is useful if a project using Blender decided to reorganise the file paths of their clips (eg to create several subdirectories in their clip directory) or as a result of moving a .blend file.

More generally, one needs to be able to edit the data associated with a sound clip.

Now all this is possible, if one goes to the correct set of buttons. Basically, you go to the animation set of buttons using the Scene button (F10) in the buttons window then choose the Sound Block Button (small blue sine wave). Then one can select the relevant sound clip in the audio or the video editor, then one can change the file path, reload the clip, recalculate (which makes the wave form appear on the clip), etc.

All this needs to be documented with a picture of the buttons... M.e 07:47, 16 May 2007 (CEST)
