Yesss!!! That's sooo coool!! \o/ On it's way are not only new cool Blender tools, but also cool open Peach Movie & Game + cool Blender Institute!! & of course that's not all!! Blender and it's community expanding and we can see & make better and better production, I can't wait to see all that cool coming stuff... Amazing job guys, Congratulations & Big Thank You!

Well, last pitch for a Peach was short & came as a surprise to me, I didn't prepare any movie... :/ But while I've been playing with my old spider concept, I decided to try it anyway... Dang, only 6 days to go!?:S

OK, situation was like:

• Surprise News from Blender

• No movie & no idea. Only old 2D spider concept which I made for a Flash game long time ago (kudos goes to Matjaž Miler here!)

• Great Blender Artists in a jury

First I didn't even want to try, because I know myself - good or nothing is my usual moto. But I started to like the new silly & cute 3D spider! My new plan was to changing plan all the time, because of short production time...

Ha, because of this decision I made meanwhile step by step production files for ~30 seconds long movie (with two character rigs, postproduction nodes, & separate scenes included, but it's also true that was last 700 frames made in last two days or so :)!

Anyway, it's a pity that I needed to cut soundtrack and ~one day of animation tweaking, but that's now already in my old plan! :)

One of my latest obsessions is perfect face topology, that mean human face topology that can fit to all faces. Superwomans, Actonmans, Metakids & all Superheros watch out! You can find mesh on my Verse server (oxigen's verse playground) & hey c'mon, tweak it to some cool Supersomething, it's easy, proper faceloops are ready for cut, add & sculpt! See you there!
