NewDev meetings
If you want to start developing in Blender and you have questions, you can always ask them in #blendercoders each day of the week.
Or, you can come to attend a NewDev meeting, where you'll find experienced developers answering your questions.
When/Where
- no longer active, just show up whenever and ask questions :)
-
1500 CET (UTC+1), 0900 EST, the first Sunday of every month, which is 1 hour before the normal developer meeting -
meetings only run 1 hr -
on the IRC #blendercoders channel,
Who might be interested
- technical users who want to know more about blenders internals
- people who are interested in how blender is developed
- anyone afraid to ask 'stupid' questions on the ML or normally on IRC.
Please don't
- use this as an excuse to bombard others with feature requests
- complain about blender only to 'motivate' others to fix ;)
- expect to learn specific areas eg: OpenGL, Python, C... there are plenty of online resources.
