The first step in your journey blender coding, is to find a place to start, the right files that you need to edit. (This information is based on blender 2.41, set up by the CVS via Cygwin, running in Windows XP. If there are any differences due to different builds/platforms, please post them here.)
In these examples, I'm assuming that you have created the entire build tree in a root directory called c:/bf-blender (As that is what most tutorials seem to be built on). If your path is different, just change the c:/bf-blender to whatever your own path might be. (ie change c:/bf-blender/blender/source/ to e:/blender-cvs/blender/source)
